Context

Plex's Apple TV app barely works

I, along with millions of others, have been let down by Plex's official Apple TV app: constant bugs, compatibility issues, network issues. The list goes on.

Reflection

Launching with tvOS 27

Still a WIP. Soft-decode for TrueHD / PGS and the full Infuse-style backend is still ahead. Currently on v0.3, with a plan to launch with tvOS 27.
